Must I live in France or the U.S.?
For practical reasons, it works best if you live — or have spent substantial time — in both France and the United States: you understand day-to-day realities on both sides (procedures, institutions, local culture), can access local sources, contacts, and news more easily, and support readers with immediate credibility. Some tasks can be done remotely, but being rooted in both environments makes research, fact-checking, and the quality of our Franco-American content much smoother. Applications from other countries are still welcome when you know both contexts well and can commit the needed availability.
